The following are notes from my installation on different Puppies:įahclient_7.3.6_b & fahiewer_7.3.6_b will install and run properly in PuppySlacko. Three packages are available that will install on PuppyLinux: fahclient_7.3.6_b, fahcontrol_7.3.6-1_all.deb, & fahviewer_7.3.6_b The 32-bit version of V7 software is available on the download site under "other platforms - 32bit Linux". Different projects are assigned to each Core_a4 (32 or 64 bit). The main difference between the 32-bit and 64-bit installations is in the Core_a4 that is used to do the actual folding. On a 32-bit installation, FAHClient will detect the number of processors available and it is capable of running multiple cpus using smp. As most Puppy installations are 32-bit, I have looked further into the use of the V7 FAHClient.
